Arup and I worked together for the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017, the most successful junior event ever in FIFA history in terms of attendance. There were many challenges, a country not really used to delivering international sporting events, six different state governments, the central government and FIFA as diverse stakeholders who needed to be handled, and really stiff targets on tight budgets. Arup and his marketing team managed to deliver on all counts, and the six National Supporters and eight global partners working with the event were all delighted at the exposure and value they got from the tournament. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and I know that every person on his team would like to come back and repeat the experience as well. Now that counts for even more in my book. I look forward to seeing him do much more in Indian sport.

Arup came to Ava Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. at a point when we needed re-structuring, shifting of office premises, renovation work, better client interaction, better internal working systems and a lot more. During his brief stint with us, (Feb 2009 - Aug 2009), he did all this and more. He is a silent worker and a silent achiever. An asset to everyone around him. We wish Arup a life full of dreams that come true and can only hope that one day he may return to our organization where our doors will always be open to him.

I had the opportunity to work with Arup extensively at St.Andrews House, Wilson College. As the General Secretary of St.Andrews House - managing over 60 students from different backgrounds, he demonstrated a high degree of sensitivity, understanding and level headiness. His representation of the students concerns & issues were clear, open and immediately actionable. His style was to be open and responsive to concerns from all angles - his enthusiasm, motivation and willingness rubbed on all including his committee members whom he managed with great elan.
